Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights underlines the right to education and the need to make this right accessible to all irrespective of race, gender, nationality, ethnicity or social origin. This fundamental human right works to raise men and women out of poverty, level inequality and ensure sustainable development. Despite its acknowledged importance, access to quality education remains a challenge in many parts of the world owing to several barriers. Surmounting these hinderances to quality education is vital for societal prosperity.
CAMPEACI continually strives to support quality education through scholarships, prize awards to meritorious students and pupils, provision of didactic material, direct financial support to teaching and administrative staff, training workshops for teachers to ameliorate teaching techniques and back to School sensitization in conflict affected areas, notably the Anglophone crisis.
