Culturally Appropriate Landscape Restoration

"Cameroon has committed to restore 12 million hectares of degraded landscapes within the framework of the Bonn Challenge, also called AFR100, Africa restoration 100 million hectares, commitment reiterated in the Kigali Declaration of 2016, by many Heads of States and Government in Africa. Cameroon's 12 million commitment is the lion's share. Restoring landscapes is very vital for healthy ecosystems as they also restore viable biodiversity and stabilize climate, but this should be done in ways that do no harm to people and other creatures, including affecting land and food security.

Gender Based Violence - GBV

"Gender Based Violence can be seen as violence that targets an individual or group of indivduals on the basis of their gender which results in sexual, physical and psychological harm. Political, Economic, legal, social or cultural norms are said to be some of the underlying causes of this violence. One in three women worldwide will experience violence in their life time while five women are killed every hour by their partner or family member. However, in a seemingly Patriachal society where women are most vulnerable to GBV, violence can happen both ways"

"Bangem Town Hosts EAD-PFE/CAMPEACI Excellence Awards to Best Performing Pupils, Schools and Students in Kupe Muanenguba Division and the Southwest region.Every year, CAMPEACI together with the Ephraim Abwe Diabe Platforms of Excellence-EAD-PFE works with the ministries of Basic and Secondary education to identify highly performing pupils and students in their final year official exams. This year, 25 best performing pupils and students were selected from the Southwest region.

38th Edition of the International Volunteers Day

This year's edition of the International volunteers Day celebrated under the theme "If Everyone Did Volunteering, the World would be a Better Place" saw CAMPEACI engage in a host of activities to the build-up of the commemoration of this global event on December 5. In collaboration with the National Volunteering Program (NVP) under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education (MINJEC), CAMPEACI engaged in preparatory and consultatived meetings with the Director of NVP, community cleanup campaign at Nkolndongo 8 and a trade fair at Hotel de Ville Yaounde on 05/12/2023 to commemorate the 38th edition of the International Volunteers Day.

CAMPEACI Youth for Tech (CY4T)

In today’s digital age, computer skills have become an essential requirement for both personal and professional development. The ability to effectively use computers and technology can open up a world of opportunities for youths, enabling them to enhance their productivity; increase participation in modern society and permit career advancement. However, many youths, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, may lack access to proper training and resources to develop these crucial skills.
This program aims to address the digital divide by providing basic and intermediate computer skills training to Cameroonian youths, especially the girl child. By equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate the digital landscape, we hope to empower them to achieve their full potential and succeed in an increasingly technology driven society.
